Terms of Service
Last updated 7 August 2026
Pallas is currently operated by an individual rather than a registered company. Anything in these terms binds that operator directly. Questions go to support@getpallas.com, and a real person answers.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you (the business using Pallas, “you”) and the operator of Pallas(“we”, “us”). By creating an account, starting a free trial, or using Pallas, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to.
2. What Pallas is
Pallas is software for running a business that sells physical products: inventory, lots and traceability, purchasing, sales, invoicing, banking and accounting, with a built-in assistant that can answer questions about your data and carry out work in it.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your accounts, including keeping passwords private.
- Each person who uses Pallas should have their own login. Sharing one login makes your change history less useful to you and can undermine records you may need for an audit.
- Tell us promptly at support@getpallas.com if you think someone has gained access they should not have.
4. The assistant acts on your data
This is the part worth reading twice. The assistant built into Pallas does not only answer questions — when you ask it to, it changes your live business records (creating and editing orders, adjusting stock, running production, posting to your ledger) and it can send email on your behalf, for example a purchase order to one of your suppliers.
- Actions that change data are shown to you and require your confirmation before they run.
- Every change is recorded in your account’s history with who or what made it, when, and what the value was before. Actions the assistant carries out are recorded as the assistant.
- You remain responsible for what you confirm. Review a proposed action before approving it, the same as you would a document a member of staff put in front of you.
- The assistant can be wrong. It is a tool for doing work quickly, not a substitute for your own judgement on money, stock, tax or safety decisions.
5. Traceability and compliance records
Pallas keeps lot and traceability records, produces them as exportable files, and reports what is missing from them. Those are real, and they are designed around what regulations and audit schemes ask for.
What we do not do is make you compliant. Whether you meet a regulation depends on your own procedures, your staff, the accuracy of what you enter, and the exercises you actually perform. We do not provide legal, regulatory or accounting advice, and nothing in Pallas is a certification of anything. You are responsible for your own compliance obligations and for checking that the records you keep in Pallas satisfy them.
6. Your data is yours
- You own the data you put into Pallas. We do not sell it and we do not use it to advertise to you or anyone else.
- We use it to run the service for you, and to support you when you ask.
- You can export your data, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data. See the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement.
- Records inside your account are not silently deleted by us. Where you remove something, traceability records are marked void and kept, because a record that can vanish is not a record.
7. Free trials
A free trial gives you the complete product for the stated period, with no card required and nothing switched off. We will remind you before it ends. If you do not continue, there is nothing to cancel; your data stays available to export for a reasonable period and is then removed. If you do continue, everything you entered stays exactly as it is.
8. Paying
- Pallas is $189 per month, billed monthly in advance, unless we have agreed something else with you in writing.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Sales tax or VAT is added where the law requires it.
- You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate part months.
- If a payment fails we will tell you and try again before anything stops working.
9. Availability
We work to keep Pallas available and to keep your data safe, including regular backups. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may take it down briefly for maintenance. If something goes seriously wrong we will tell you what happened rather than leave you guessing.
10. Acceptable use
Do not use Pallas to break the law, to store someone else’s data you have no right to, to attack or overload the service, or to resell it as your own product without our agreement.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Pallas at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms or does not pay, after telling you and giving you a fair chance to put it right, except where the breach is serious enough to require acting immediately. On termination you may export your data.
12. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Pallas is provided as it is, and while we take real care with it we do not warrant that it is free of defects.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may end the agreement if you do not accept it.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, United States, and disputes go to the courts there.
